Today, Apple officially announced that the new 13-inch M2 MacBook Pro will be available to order starting on June 17 at 5 a.m. PDT (Pacific Daylight Time).
Customers can order the first Pro Mac notebook powered by the M2 chip starting 17th June from Apple.com, the Apple Store app, and/or Apple Authorized Resellers. The deliveries are set to begin on June 24, 2022.
When it comes to the overall look, the new 13-inch M2 MacBook Pro features the identical design to the previous M1 model, including Touch Bar. It comes in Space Gray and Silver color options and costs $1299 in the United States.
However, it has a breakthrough power of Apple’s newest M2 chip, which has an 18% faster GPU, 35% faster CPU, 40% faster Neural Engine as compared to M1 chip. It can be configured up to 24GB unified memory and 2TB of internal storage.
Although, Apple hasn’t reveled the date to order the newest entirely redesigned MacBook Air powered by the M2 chip, remains listed as “Available next month.”
