On Thursday, August 26, Apple TV officially announced the renewal of the global hit critically acclaimed bilingual comedy series with Acapulco season 2.
“The second season tells the story of twenty-something Máximo Gallardo, whose dream comes true when he gets the job of a lifetime as a cabana boy at the hottest resort in Acapulco,” Apple TV describes.
Acapulco season 2 features returing stars Enrique Arrizon, Fernando Carsa, Damián Alcázar, Camila Perez, Chord Overstreet, Vanessa Bauche, Regina Reynoso, Raphael Alejandro, Jessica Collins, Rafael Cebrián, Regina Orozco and Carlos Corona.
The comedy series is created and executive produced by Austin Winsberg, Eduardo Cisneros, and Jason Shuman. Direct and executive produced by Jay Karas, Chris Harris serves as showrunner, while Sonia Gambaro serves as co-producer. And executive produced by Derbez, Ben Odell, Kim Tannenbaum, and Eric Tannenbaum.
The 10-episode Acapulco season 2 will globally premiere on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Friday, October 21, one new episode will release every Friday a week.
