Today, Apple TV has officially announced to release of the Spanish and English-language, broadly acclaimed, and hit bilingual comedy series Acapulco season 2.
“Acapulco” tells the story of twenty-something Máximo Gallardo (Enrique Arrizon), whose dream comes true when he gets the job of a lifetime as a cabana boy at the hottest resort in Acapulco, Apple TV describes.
Season two picks up right on the heels of season one. In 1985, Máximo must contend with upheaval at the resort, unexpected problems at home, and a new love interest who just might rival the girl of his dreams. In the present day, Older Máximo (Eugenio Derbez, who also narrates the series) arrives in Acapulco, where he encounters various people from his past — for better and worse.
The star cast for Acapulco season 2 includes Enrique Arrizon, Fernando Carsa, Damián Alcázar, Camila Perez, Chord Overstreet, Vanessa Bauche, Regina Reynoso, Raphael Alejandro, Jessica Collins, Rafael Cebrián, Regina Orozco and Carlos Corona.
The second season of one of the most popular comedy series is created and executive produced by Austin Winsberg, Eduardo Cisneros, and Jason Shuman. Direct and executive produced by Jay Karas, Chris Harris serves as showrunner, while Sonia Gambaro serves as co-producer. And executive produced by Derbez, Ben Odell, Kim Tannenbaum, and Eric Tannenbaum.
However, the premiere date of the Acapulco season 2 bilingual comedy series is currently not specified by the company.
Furthermore, Apple TV has recently shared the first look at the “Omnivore” docuseries, “The Dynasty” docuseries, and revealed the premiere date of the “WeCrashed” drama series and “Pachinko” drama series.
