Apple TV celebrates Acapulco season 2 Apple Original bilingual comedy series premiere event

On Friday, October 14, Apple TV+ hosted the premiere event of the Apple Original Film Acapulco season 2 bilingual comedy series, which will premiere this Friday.

On Friday, at The London West Hollywood hotel in Los Angeles, California, the screening began with honoring the film stars, creators, and producers on the red carpet, including Chord Overstreet, Camila Perez, Enrique Arrizon, and Fernando Carsa.

“The second season tells the story of twenty-something Máximo Gallardo, whose dream comes true when he gets the job of a lifetime as a cabana boy at the hottest resort in Acapulco,” Apple TV describes.

Acapulco season 2 features returning stars Enrique Arrizon, Fernando Carsa, Damián Alcázar, Camila Perez, Chord Overstreet, Vanessa Bauche, Regina Reynoso, Raphael Alejandro, Jessica Collins, Rafael Cebrián, Regina Orozco, and Carlos Corona.

The comedy series is directed by Victor Nelli, Nicole Treston Abranian, and Jay Karas who also serves as executive producer. It is written by Tamara Yajia, Joe Cristalli, Jonathan Green, Ilse Apellaniz, Mara Vargas Jackson, Eddie Quintana, and Gabe Miller as well as Austin Winsberg, Jason Shuman, Eduardo Cisneros, and Chris Harris who also serve as executive producers.

Eugenio Derbez, Kim Tannenbaum, Jason Wang, Eric Tannenbaum, Ben Odell, and Jay Karas are also included in the list who executive produced the new season of the series.

The 10-episode Acapulco season 2 will globally premiere on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Friday, October 21, and one new episode will release every Friday a week through December 16.
