Apple Business Essentials Now Available for Small Businesses Across the US

On Thursday, 31st March, Apple officially announced that its new Apple Business Essentials service is now accessible to all small businesses across the United States.

Apple’s new service was previously available in a beta capacity to a limited number of businesses but now, it is available to any small business in the US that uses Apple products and wants to participate.

Apple Business Essentials is a subscription-based service that provides useful device management features, including setup and onboarding as well as strong security, prioritized support alongside data storage and backup.

Using AppleCare+ for any Business Essentials plan, businesses can get 24/7 access to Apple Support and “training for both IT administrators and employees, and up to two device repairs per plan — by individual, group, or device — each year.”

Employees just sign in to their work account on their iPhone, iPad, and Mac using Managed Apple ID. Once done, they will have access to the professional tools they need to be productive, including the new Apple Business Essentials app.

The support/feature to create Managed Apple ID by federating with Microsoft Azure Active Directory and allowing employees to log in to their device with a single username and password coming later this Spring.

Apple Business Essentials plan costs start at $2.99/month after two months of free trial and go up to $24.99 per month. Apple also announced a special online event on April 5 at 11 AM PDT to learn more about the new business service.
