Apple announced fiscal Q3 2022 financial results

On Thursday, July 28, Apple announced its financial results for the fiscal Q3 2022 financial results with record-breaking revenue in some of its products and services.

Apple’s second quarter covered the months of April, May, and June, and the company reported a revenue of $83 billion, an increase of 2% as compared to the last year in the same quarter, and recorded a net profit of $19.4 billion and earnings-per-share of $1.20.

And for these great financial results, Apple CEO Tim Cook said,

Apple’s fiscal Q3 2022 financial results reports increased revenue for the iPhone and services, while iPad, Mac, Wearables, Home, and Accessories revenue decreased.

Revenue of Apple’s All Product Categories:
  • iPhone: $40.6 billion, an increase from $39.5 billion YOY
  • iPad: $7.2 billion, a decrease from $7.3 billion YOY
  • Mac: $7.3 billion, a decrease from $8.2 billion YOY
  • Services: $19.6 billion, an increase from $17.4 billion YOY
  • Home, Wearables, and Accessories: $8 billion, increase decrease from $8.7 billion YOY

Apple’s board of directors proclaimed a cash dividend of $0.23 per share on the common stock of the company. The dividend will record as of the close of quarter business on August 8, 2022, and it is payable to shareholders on August 11, 2022.
