Apple Myeongdong Now Opens for Walk-In Customers

The all-new Apple Myeongdong, Apple’s largest retail business space in South Korea now officially opens for walk-in customers in the country’s capital, Seoul.

The new Apple Myeongdong retail store is located in Center Point Myeong-dong, 9-1 Namdaemun-ro 2-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul. In the new space, consumers will discover the latest Apple products, receive the best support from Apple Specialists, and join creative and knowledgeable Today at Apple sessions.

For the first time, the new Apple Store makes its debut with “Apple’s first-ever K-pop Today at Apple Remix session featuring K-pop supergroup SEVENTEEN,” which will expand other Apple Stores across Asia, where people will be able to know more about the band’s creative process and create the new track using GarageBand on iPad.

The beautiful new two-level destination is placed at “the base of an all-new tower in the center of the city, occupying the full width of the block and creating a grand street frontage.” There are landscaped pocket gardens on both side corners of the store that includes sculptures created by Korean artists Jaehyo Lee and VAKKI.

The freshness and greenery spread into the space with a shaded grove of trees lining the storefront. The largest South Korean Apple Store also features the first installation of a horizontally supported double-height glass façade.

Considering all health and safety measures, on the opening of Apple Myeongdong, walk-in customers are only allowed who have registered appointments from apple.com/kr/today/myeongdong.
