New “The White Darkness” Apple Original Limited Series Unveiled

On Thursday, April 7, Apple TV revealed the new Apple Original limited series – The White Darkness, which is based on David Grann’s nonfiction work.

“The new Apple Original series is inspired by the true-life account of Henry Worsley, a devoted husband and father, a former soldier, a man of deep honor and sacrifice, but also a man deeply obsessed with adventure, manifesting in an epic journey crossing Antarctica on foot,” Apple describes.

In “The White Darkness,” BAFTA Rising Star Award nominee Tom William Hiddleston is in a focus, playing the role of Henry Worsley, “this is a spellbinding story of courage, love, family and the extremes of human capacity.”

The new series is developed by Soo Hugh, who produced the recently premiered high-anticipated “Pachinko” and produced by Apple Studios and a television production company Universal Content Productions (UCP).
