Apple Pay Now Officially Launched in Qatar

Today, Apple started expanding its payment system “Apple Pay” in Qatar that will be first able to utilize with the QNB banking group.

According to a new post shared by the banking group, the largest institution of the Middle East and Africa – QNB (Qatar Nation Bank) Group will be the first-ever banking group in Qatar to receive the support of Apple Pay.

So, now, QNB bank cardholders can easily make contactless payments for many purchases using their iPhone and Apple Watch, and also able to utilize their Mac machines to make an online payment while purchasing any product or service online.

The General Manager of QNB Group’s Retail Banking, Heba Al-Tamimi said that the company feels proud to bring Apple Pay to the Qatari market. This is a step forward by the QNB Group to provide customers with state-of-the-art technologies.

The banking group also provides complete details about how to pay with Apple Pay in a secure and convenient way, brief information on Apple Pay, registration process, and more.

In 2019, Apple Pay was launched in Saudi Arabia and earlier this year, it was launched in Israel, Mexico, and many other countries as well.

Moreover, as per the Chilean website Pisapapeles, the Brazilian financial bank “Itaú Unibanco” seems to be set to provide the support of Apple Pay in Chile, so Chile may become the second South American country after Brazil to receive the support Apple’s payment system.
