Apple’s streaming platform is now globally premiering the new witty and darkly comedic murder mystery — Bad Sisters, starring Sharon Horgan.
“The tight-knit Garvey sisters have always looked out for each other. When their brother-in-law winds up dead, his life insurers launch an investigation to prove malicious intent — and set their sights on the sisters, all of whom had ample reason to kill him,” Apple describes.
“Bad Sisters” includes Award-winning star and creator Sharon Horgan, Sharon Wheatley, Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene, Eve Hewson, Claes Bang, Brian Gleeson, Daryl McCormack, Assaad Bouab, and newcomer Saise Quinn.
The new series is directed by Dearbhla Walsh, Josephine Bornebusch, and Rebecca Gatward, written by Karen Cogan, Ailbhe Keogan, Daniel Cullen, Perrie Balthazar, and Paul Howard.
The new dark comedy is produced by ABC Signature and Merman productions, which is a part of Disney Television Studios and it marks Horgan’s first project to premiere from the first deal with Apple TV+ and her Merman production company.
Sharon Horgan, Brett Baer, Dave Finkel, Malin-Sarah Gozin, Faye Dorn, Clelia Mountford, and Bert Hamelinck serve as executive producers in the new film.
The first two episode of the all-new 10-episode “Bad Sisters” mysterious comedy series is now available to watch on Apple’s streaming platform, one new episode will release every Friday a week.
