“Black Bird” suspenseful psychological thriller series now streaming on Apple TV+

Apple’s streaming platform is now globally premiering the brand new suspenseful psychological thriller series – Black Bird, which is inspired by a true crime memoir.

“When high school football hero, decorated policeman’s son, and convicted drug dealer Jimmy Keene is sentenced to 10 years in a minimum-security prison, he is given the choice of a lifetime — enter a maximum-security prison for the criminally insane and befriend suspected serial killer Larry Hall (Paul Walter Hauser), or stay where he is and serve his full sentence with no possibility of parole,” Apple describes.

This dramatic and captivating story subverts the crime genre by enlisting the help of the very people put behind bars to solve its mysteries.

The highly-anticipated “Black Bird” limited drama series stars Taron Egerton, Paul Walter Hauser, Sepideh Moafi, Greg Kinnear, and Ray Liotta and is produced for Apple TV+ by Apple Studios.

The movie series is developed by Dennis Lehane and the first three episodes are directed by Jim McKay and Joe Chappelle alongside Michaël R. Roskam who also serves as executive producer.

Taron Egerton, Dennis Lehane, Roskam, Richard Plepler, Bradley Thomas, Dan Friedkin, Ryan Friedkin, Alexandra Milchan, Scott Lambert, Kary Antholis, and James Keene serve as executive producers.

The six-episode “Black Bird” drama series is now available to watch on Apple’s streaming platform in the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV 4K, Xbox, PlayStation, and eligible smart TVs.
