Today, Apple TV announced to order the new “Eva the Owlet” kids and family animated series based on the New York Times bestselling “Owl Diaries” children’s books.
“A creative, cheeky owlet who lives next door to her best friend Lucy in the woodland world of Treetopington. With big ideas and an even bigger personality, Eva goes on high-flying adventures, expressing herself in her journal along the way,” Apple describes.
The latest Apple TV+ kids’ changemakers initiative brings the world’s most creative storytellers to make inspiring, exciting and enriching original series for kids and families.
“Eva the Owlet” is directed by Emmy Award-nominated Damien O’Connor, produced by Scholastic Entertainment, executive produced by Iole Lucchese and Jef Kaminsky, and animated by Brown Bag Films in Dublin and Bali.
“Owl Diaries,” from which, this animated movie has been created is now available in eight foreign language translations and 3 million printed copies. The film also features “original songs by critically acclaimed musician and singer-songwriter Fitz of Fitz and the Tantrums.”
