On July 14, Apple TV announced its new highly-anticipated eight-part documentary series — Gutsy, which is based on the bestselling book “The Book of Gutsy Women.”
“The series shows Hillary and Chelsea as you’ve never seen them before, revealing their special mother-daughter bond and the unique, multi-generational way they approach the important and timely issues highlighted in each episode,” Apple describes.
Take an unforgettable journey with Hillary and Chelsea Clinton as they go on adventures with some of the world's boldest and bravest women — from household names to unsung — who make us laugh and inspire to be more gutsy.
The new film is produced for Apple by HiddenLight Productions and Left/Right LLC with producers Kevin Vargas and Claire Featherstone and consulting producers Huma Abedin and Bari Lurie.
The docuseries is executive produced by Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton, Ken Druckerman, Johnny Webb, Roma Khanna, Siobhan Sinnerton, Banks Tarver and Anna Chai, who also serves as showrunner.
The new “Gutsy” eight-part highly-anticipated documentary series will premiere exclusively on Apple TV+ on Friday, September 9. You can know more about the series in the official press release.
