Apple TV+ unveils new “Lessons in Chemistry” drama series

Today, Apple TV unveiled the first look at the brand new drama series – Lessons in Chemistry, which is based on the bestselling novel from author Bonnie Garmus.

“Set in the early 1950s, the series follows Elizabeth Zott, whose dream of being a scientist is put on hold in a society deeming that women belong in the domestic sphere, not the professional one,” Apple describes.

“Lessons in Chemistry” stars Academy Award winner Brie Larson as a lead actor along with Lewis Pullman, Aja Naomi King, Stephanie Koenig, Patrick Walker, Thomas Mann, Kevin Sussman, and Beau Bridges.

The new story is produced by Aggregate Films, executive produced by Brie Larson, Jason Bateman, Michael Costigan, Susannah Grant, Natalie Sandy, Louise Shore alongside Lee Eisenberg who also serves as showrunner. The drama series is co-executive produced by Elijah Allan-Blitz and Bonnie Garmus.

“Lessons in Chemistry” is currently in production and will premiere in 2023. Although, the confirmed date is currently unclear. You can know more about the series in the official press release.
