On July 25, Apple TV celebrated the world premiere event of the brand new highly-anticipated psychological thriller series — Surface, which premieres soon.
On Monday, at the Morgan Library in New York, the global premiere began with honoring the film star cast, director, and producer on the red carpet, including Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Veronica West, Reese Witherspoon, Lauren Neustadter, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Ari Graynor, and Millie Brady.
The new Apple Original series features “Sophie as a woman who has suffered a traumatic head injury that has left her with extreme memory loss, believed to be a result of a suicide attempt,” Apple describes.
The all-new thriller series stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Stephan James, Ari Graynor, Francois Arnaud, Millie Brady, and Marianne Jean-Baptiste.
The film is written by Veronica West, Erica L. Anderson, Tony Saltzman, Glens Mullins, Leigh Ann Biety, Dan Lee West, Raven Jackson, Martin Zimmerman, and Glenise Mullins.
In the new “Surface” series, Veronica West also serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside Reese Witherspoon, Lauren Neustadter, Sam Miller, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
The new eight-episode Apple Original “Surface” highly-anticipated psychological thriller series will exclusively premiere on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes on Friday, July 29, 2022, one new episode will release every Friday a week.
