Apple TV Hosts “Black Bird” Suspenseful Crime Drama Series Premiere Event

On Wednesday, Apple TV hosted the premiere event of the upcoming brand new highly-anticipated suspenful crime drama series — Black Bird.

In the evening of June 29 at the Bruin Theater in Los Angeles, the global premiere began with honoring the film star cast, director, and executive producer on the red carpet, including Taron Egerton, Dennis Lehane, Walter Hauser, Greg Kinnear, Sepideh Moafi and the real-life James Keene.

When high school football hero, decorated policeman’s son, and convicted drug dealer Jimmy Keene is sentenced to 10 years in a minimum-security prison, he is given the choice of a lifetime — enter a maximum-security prison for the criminally insane and befriend suspected serial killer Larry Hall (Paul Walter Hauser), or stay where he is and serve his full sentence with no possibility of parole.

A suspenseful six-episode psychological thriller “Black Bird” drama series stars Taron Egerton, Paul Walter Hauser, Sepideh Moafi, Greg Kinnear, and Ray Liotta and is produced for Apple TV+ by Apple Studios.

The movie series is developed by Dennis Lehane and the first three episodes are directed by Jim McKay and Joe Chappelle alongside Michaël R. Roskam who also serves as executive producer.

Taron Egerton, Dennis Lehane, Roskam, Richard Plepler, Bradley Thomas, Dan Friedkin, Ryan Friedkin, Alexandra Milchan, Scott Lambert, Kary Antholis, James Keene are also serve as executive producers.

“Black Bird” is set to premiere on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Friday, July 8, 2022, one new episode will release every Friday. You can know more about the new series in the official press release.
