The new unique Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro models now gains Reachability support in iOS 16.1 Beta 1 for developers and public beta testers.
As per the first initial lool shared by “Tech-Up” in a Tweet, Dynamic Island now works specifically in iOS 16.1 Beta 1 to access it easily, especially for one-handed usage.
Reachability is useful functionality that lowers the top half of the screen to reach it easily, especially for those who have small hands. It can be turned on by going to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Reachability.
You can utilize the feature by just swiping down to the bottom edge of the display and going back to the standard view by simply tapping the upper half of the screen.
The new functionality previously doesn’t work with the stable version of iOS 16 where the full Dynamic animation remains at the top while the other content moves down.
But now with iOS 16.1 Beta 1, the feature is now accessible for all eligible users that show multiple system alerts such as AirPods connection, Face ID, incoming phone call, volume up and down as well as silent mode.
