iPad 10th-generation may feature flat edge design and camera bump

Apple is now reportedly planning to give a major physical update to the entry-level iPad 10th-generation with a flat edge design and upgrade the camera.

According to the exclusive renders of the device leaked from a case maker and shared by MySmartPrice, the upcoming iPad 10th-generation will feature an identical design to the latest iPad mini with flat edges and a rear camera bump.

The report also claims some previous rumors that the new entry-level iPad will have a larger display, powered by the A14 Bionic, 5G, and a USB Type-C port to complete the entire iPad with USB-C support.

The product renders point out to have rounded corners like the newer iPad Pro, iPad Air, and iPad mini, however, the display will remain with squared-off edges. And due to the major redesign, it may come with a slight price increase.

The renders also suggest that Touch ID will still be placed in the Home button at the bottom and there will be a single lens for both front and rear cameras. while Apple will eliminate a 3.5mm headphone jack like iPhones.

It is currently expected that Apple will unveil the new affordable iPad 10th-generation at the special Apple Event next month.
