iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus – Most popular now in a bigger profile

At the special Apple Event on September 7, Apple officially unveiled the new iPhone 14 as well as the all-new iPhone 14 Plus to get the non-Pro in a larger size.

The new regular iPhone models debut with considerable enhancements in cameras by featuring the most advanced dual camera setup and incredible new and useful safety features.

Along with the non-Pro iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, Apple also introduced the entirely new iPhone 14 Pro models with a totally unique front design, Apple Watch Series 8, and for the first time, the most rugged and durable Apple Watch Ultra.

Popular, sophisticated, and elegant design

A larger display on the iPhone 14 Plus allows you to enjoy more content and seamlessly works with incredible new features of iOS 16 as well as enables easy accessibility to the most intense game.

There is the same sturdy and premium aerospace-grade aluminum enclosure complemented by one of the beautiful looking durable designs with the protection of Ceramic Shield, which is tougher than any smartphone glass as well as water and dust resistance.

They come in five gorgeous finishes – Midnight, Starlight, a great new shade of blue, a strikingly elegant purple, and a truly eye-catching (PRODUCT) RED.

Even brighter

Both iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models have a stunning new Super Retina XDR display with OLED technology that supports 1200 nits of peak brightness while viewing the HDR content, 2,00,00,00: 1 contrast ratio, and Dolby Vision.

Considerable performance

The new iPhone 14 models are not surprisingly powered by the same A15 Bionic chip as the last year’s entire iPhone 13 lineup, however, it is equipped with some notable enhancements.

The 5-core GPU with the processor is now 18% faster for offering even smoother graphics in computationally heavy workloads such as intensive gaming and the powerful 6-core CPU with two high-performance cores, four high-efficiency cores, and a 16-core Neural Engine is faster than all Android-powered smartphones in the current market.

The A15 Bionic also powers innovative features in the most advanced dual rear camera setup on the newest iPhone.

Larger captures

The new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus enable gorgeous photo capture across the entire range of light which is a result of unique, state-of-the-art technology. From bright light to low light and night scenes, it has again the best cameras in its range.

It features a new larger 12MP primary wide-angle lens with an f/1.5 aperture and sensor-shift OIS to take stunning shots everywhere. The new cameras allow better motion freezing with vibrant colors, great texture, and detail.

It has a notable 49% enhancements in low-light photography for even better results in challenging lighting conditions while making the Night mode exposure twice as fast. The Ultra-wide camera takes really good-looking photos and videos.

The front camera also comes with improved, great-looking selfies, and high-quality video during FaceTime as well as Slofies by including a new TrueDepth camera with f/1.9 aperture, which has a 39% while taking low light photos and videos.

Photonic Engine

For the first time, the front camera on iPhone has autofocus to clearly focuses on multiple distances. Deep fusion is a huge achievement in low-light photography, which now applies earlier in the process to uncompressed images for rendering more brighter colors.

Apple called this a whole new process “Photonic Engine” that dramatically improves low-light photos by providing 2x better performance as compared to the iPhone 13.

More advanced video stabilization

Today, Apple introduced the all-new even more advanced video stabilization mode that offers users a powerful tool when capturing the moments on the move and it is known as “Action mode.”

The Action mode uses the full sensor with more overscan and advanced roll correction to make a video incredibly stable when you’re in the middle of the action, which also supports Dolby Vision HDR.

Connectivity is now on a new level

Alongside the super-fast speeds with 5G, this year, Apple made takes connectivity capabilities to the next level with the eSIM-only iPhone, meaning, it completely eliminates the need for a physical SIM card to quickly transfer an existing cellular plan or get a new plan entirely digitally.

You can also store multiple eSIMs on the same device and it’s easy to set up without a Wi-FI connection. Note that the new eSIM-only facility is currently only available in the United States with a selected number of carriers, including Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. So, for the first time, all US iPhone models no longer have a SIM tray.

Designed to last

The iPhone 14 is designed to last and as users depend on their iPhones for many things in their daily lives, it delivers all-day battery life, which is expected to be an hour more than the iPhone 13.

The brand new iPhone 14 Plus provides even longer a day by offering the best battery life ever in an iPhone, identical to the all-new highest-end iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Environment friendliness

In a long journey to become carbon neutral across the company’s entire footprint, more than 200 of Apple’s suppliers have committed to 100% renewable energy for Apple production.

In fiscal 2021, iPhone suppliers kept over 250,000 metric tons of waste from ending up in a landfill. In fact, one metric ton of recovered main logic boards and cameras has the same amount of gold and copper as over 2000 metric tons of mined rock.

With an aim of more and more people living a fit and healthy lifestyle, Apple Fitness+ will be available to all iPhone users across the world even if they don’t have an Apple Watch.

Pricing and availability

The iPhone 14 is priced at $799 and the bigger model costs $899 for the base model. You can pre-order both models starting September 9. The 6.1-inch iPhone 14 will be available from September 16 while the shipping of the iPhone 14 Plus will begin on October 7.
