iPhone 14 Plus seems to be the actual name of the 6.7-inch non-Pro model

This year’s new rumored 6.7-inch non-Pro iPhone model is now expected to be known as the iPhone 14 Plus instead of iPhone 14 Max as now speculated.

As per the photo shared by Twitter user Tommy Boi, there is a clear MagSafe case of the all-new iPhone model, which clearly mentions the iPhone 14 Plus branding.

It definitely makes sense to give “Plus” naming as the “Max” is always revered for the highest-end flagship model and Apple possibly take this step forward to make the product names less confusing.

The last time Apple used the “Plus” branding for the iPhone 8 Plus in 2017. Since then, Apple utilized the “Max” for all the highest-end models, including the iPhone Xs Max, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

This year, the new 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus model will join 6.1-inch iPhone 14, 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.

We will get the official first look at the new 2022 iPhone lineup alongside the new Apple Watch models at the special “Far out” Apple Event on September 7.
