As there are still months of the next generation of iPhones, the upcoming high-end iPhone 14 Pro to feature 8GB of RAM that would be the most RAM ever on the iPhone.
According to a report from a user “yeux1122” on the Korean blog Nave (first reported by MacRumors), as per supply chain sources, the best in class iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will have 8GB of RAM, and components are ready for the mass production.
This is a user who was only proven half right about the 6th-generation iPad mini. He was correctly predicted that the new iPad mini will be announced in the second half of 2022, while proven wrong about the 8.7-inch display size.
This year, the Pro iPhone 14 models are widely rumored to feature a 48MP primary wide-angle lens that would also be the highest megapixel camera on the iPhone so it makes sense that Apple may include 8GB of RAM for more precise memory handling.
Last year in December, Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu’s report also claimed that 2022 iPhone models that include 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max will have 8GB of memory that would be notably increased from iPhone 13 Pro models.
Moreover, this year’s best-in-class iPhone models will feature remarkable redesign, including a punch hole and pill-shaped cutouts rather than a standard notch and no camera bump.
