Apple is now rumored to replace the Pro Max branding for its highest-end iPhone model with the iPhone 15 Ultra that will be coming in September 2023.
According to the latest edition of his Power On newsletter, Bloomberg’s journalist Mark Gurman said that Apple is considering revamped design along with USB-C and a major name change.
Gurman explains the “Pro Max” naming, which Apple is used for the last few years, will now be replaced with the “Ultra” branding, which means the next year’s flagship model will be known as the iPhone 15 Ultra.
It makes sense as in recent times, Apple introduces some of its greatest products with “Ultra” naming such as the most powerful M1 Ultra chip, and the unique and rugged Apple Watch Ultra.
Even there is a year away, it is widely speculated that Apple will finally adopt USB-C for its forthcoming iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Ultra alongside a notable redesign.
Rumors are also pointed out that Dynamic Island will be featured on all models of the iPhone 15 lineup, which is currently limited to only iPhone 14 Pro models.
