The forthcoming iPhone SE 4th-generation is now speculated to feature a popular 6.1-inch 60Hz LCD display with a notch, identical to the iPhone XR.
A Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) analyst Ross Young told to MacRumors that the next generation of the special edition iPhone will be entirely transformed with the so-called design of a few years old non-Pro iPhone models.
An analyst further claims that a notch on the iPhone SE 4th-generation is currently rumored to be smaller than iPhone XR and iPhone 11 as Apple is not planning to include Face ID, which will just feature a TrueDepth camera.
By designing a completely new special edition, there will be no space for Touch ID in the Home button so multiple rumors, including from an analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggests that Touch ID is likely to feature in the power button like the iPad mini and iPad Air.
However, owing to these significant changes, we probably see a slight increase in the pricing of the next generation of the special edition iPhone, the official launch is expected in March or April 2024.
