Apple is working on M2 Pro and M2 Max-powered 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro

Apple is now reportedly preparing to announce its high-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models powered by M2 Pro and M2 Max Apple Silicon chips.

According to the recent report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple will unveil newer versions of the next generation of Apple Silicon chips, including M2 Pro and M2 Max for the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models.

There are also some next-level of processors that Apple probably reveal in a few months and that’s the Ultra and Extreme. This is the list of new Macs Gurman expects to release.

  • M2 Pro and M2 Max 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro
  • M2 and M2 Pro Mac mini
  • M2 Ultra and M2 Extreme Mac Pro

Rumors and leaks of the new Mac mini has been surfaced online for a long time now as it isn’t updated since 2020 as well as the company will remove its Intel-based model.

Apple is speculated to reveal updated models of the high-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M2 Pro and M2 Max after a year completion of its M1 Pro and M1 Max chips.

Last but not the least, Mark Gurman also believes the new Mac Pro with M2 Ultra and M2 Extreme coming this fall as Apple already indicates its preparation in the March event.
