MacBook Air M2 pre-orders begin on July 8, available starting July 15

Today, Apple officially confirmed that pre-orders for its entirely new MacBook Air M2 is set to begin on Friday, July 8 and it will be available starting Friday, July 15.

On this day, a month ago, the new Mac notebook was publicly announced by the company at Worldwide Developer Conference 2022 keynote event.

The next generation of the world’s best selling laptop is redesigned identical to the high-end MacBook Pro models with including a notch and with the breakthrough performance and power efficiency of M2, it provides up to 18 hours of battery life.

The latest Air Mac notebook is comparatively lighter and thinner as well as 20% overall reduction in volume from the M1 MacBook Air that was launched in 2020.

The M2 MacBook Air costs $1199 for the base variant and it goes up to $2499 for the top-end model, while M1 MacBook Air remains in the lineup for $999.

In the United States, pre-orders for the MacBook Air M2 will start on July 8 at 5 a.m. PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) and the shipping starts on Friday, July 15.
