Apple now is setting down the strict requirements of wearing masks for corporate employees in most places, remaining only for retail staff.
On 1st August, Apple’s COVID-19 Response Team told corporate employees that the company is updating its health and safety protocols “in light of current circumstances,” an internal memo writes, obtained by The Verge.
Apple officially confirmed that the company’s corporate employees can now come and work at the office without wearing masks in most places until local health authorities still mandate it.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Apple has strictly mandated to wearing of face masks for all of its corporate and retail store employees. Although, the requirement has been changed accordingly.
Now considering ongoing situations with reduces cases, the necessity is dropping for Apple’s corporate employees in most places. However, there are still some places they must have to wear a mask.
