Apple TV Announced Apple Original Michael J. Fox Nonfiction Feature Film

Today, Apple TV announced the new untitled Apple Original nonfiction feature film about the life of beloved Hollywood actor and advocate Michael J. Fox.

The new Apple Original Film will showcase Michael J. Fox’s extraordinary story in his own words – “the improbable tale of an undersized kid from a Canadian army base who rose to the heights of stardom in 1980s Hollywood,” Apple describes.

The film will chronicle Fox’s personal and professional triumphs and travails, and will explore what happens when an incurable optimist confronts an incurable disease. With a mix of adventure and romance, comedy and drama, watching the film will feel like… well, like a Michael J. Fox movie.

The new film is currently in production in New York, Los Angles, and Vancouver, and is directed by Oscar-winning director Davis Guggenheim who also serves as a producer alongside Annetta Marion, Will Cohen, and Jonathan King.

The incredible documentary is executive produced by Laurene Powell Jobs, Jonathan Silberberg, Nicole Stott, and Fox’s long-time producing partner Nelle Fortenberry.

However, the premiere date of the forthcoming new Apple Original nonfiction feature film is currently hasn’t shared by the company.
