Apple’s video streaming service is now officially globally premiering the all-new “Pachinko” highly-anticipated Korean drama series after a month of releasing the first-ever teaser.
“The story begins with forbidden love and crescendos into a saga that journeys between Korea, Japan, and America to tell an unforgettable story of war and peace, love and loss, triumph and reckoning,” Apple describes.
Based on the New York Times bestseller, this sweeping saga chtonicles the hopes and dreams of a Korean immigrant family across four generations as they leave their homeland in an indomitable quest to survive and thrive.
The brand new Korean drama series starring Yuh-Jung Youn, Lee Minho, Minha Kim, Jin Ha, Soji Arai, Inji Jeong, Kaho Minami, Anna Sawai, Jimmi Simpson, Steve Sanghyun Noh, Eunchae Jung, Yuna, and Junwoo Han.
Kogonada and Justin Chon direct “Pachinko,” produced by Jordan Murcia, written, created, and executive produced by Soo Hugh, while Richard Middleton, Theresa Kang-Lowe, Lindsey Springer, Micheal Ellenberg, Soo Hugh, Kogonada, and Justin Chon serve as executive producers.
A highly-anticipated drama globally premieres today in three languages – Korean, Japanese, and English so that people across the world can easily understand the TV series.
“Pachinko” has a total of eight episodes in the first season, three episodes will be released on the launch date, while others will showcase every Friday a week through 29th April 2022.
The drama series is now available to watch on Apple’s video streaming service in the TV app on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, eligible PlayStation, Xbox gaming consoles, and smart TVs.
