On Monday, Apple TV hosted the world premiere event of the new epic natural history event series – Prehistoric Planet, which will be globally released later this month.
On May 16, at the AMC Century City IMAX Theatre in Los Angeles, the global premiere began with honoring the film star cast, director, and producer on the red carpet, including Kara Talve, Anže Rozman, Russell Emanueland, Jon Favreau, and more.
The new natural history presents little-known and surprising facts of dinosaur life set against the backdrop of the environments of Cretaceous times, including coasts, deserts, freshwater, ice worlds, and forests, Apple describes.

“Prehistoric Planet” is narrated by Sir David Attenborough, executive produced by Jon Favreau, Mike Gunton, and BBC Studios Natural History Unit, and features stunning music detail by multiple Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer.
The new documentary includes an immersive experience of ancient Earth, eye-catching parenting techniques of Tyrannosaurus rex, “the mysterious depths of the oceans, and the deadly dangers in the sky.”
The five-episode “Prehistoric Planet” groundbreaking series is set to globally premiere on Apple’s streaming platform on Monday, May 23, one new episode will release every Friday a week through May 27.
