Apple Released Safari Technology Preview 146 – Here’s What’s New?

On May 26, Apple released Safari Technology Preview 146 with multiple bug fixes and performance improvements after several days of releasing version 145.

With a new Safari Technology Preview 146 release, Apple makes enhancements and addresses issues for the browser’s Web inspector, CSS, Javascript, Forms, Media, Rendering, Scrolling, HTML, Shared Worker, Service Worker, Web API, and Security.

If you already have the complete installation of the Safari Technology Preview from the Apple Developer Center, the latest Safari Technology Preview 146 update is now available to download from the System Preferences of your eligible Mac running on macOS Big Sur or macOS Monterey.

Apple’s primary reason behind the testing of new features on its browser is to get feedback from developers, for which, users don’t need to download any special developer account to make it accessible.

For those who are unfamiliar, Safari Technology Preview is mainly aimed at more advanced Mac users who want to try out the upcoming web technologies in the Safari browser on iOS and macOS by getting the latest layout technologies, visual effects, developer tools, and more without altering the primary Safari browser.

You can know more about the new changes, features, and bug fixes in Apple’s full release notes about Safari Technology Preview 146.
