Spotlight Search in macOS Ventura Delivers Even More Consistent Experience

On June 6, Apple unveiled the next generation of the Mac operating system, macOS Ventura, which includes some new useful features for Spotlight Search.

The latest Mac operating system offers incredible new tools for taking multitasking experience to next level with Stage Manager and some new powerful search features to Spotlight to search now conveniently across the system and the web.

This year, Apple has a big update for Spotlight Search across all of its platforms. Spotlight is already one of the best ways to for doing all kinds of things, like quickly launching the app or starting a search, and now, it is possible to peek at a result with just a tap on the space bar.

It can now also find images from the photo library across the system and on the web, and it can also search text from the image using Live Text. With a great way to get information on music albums, key facts, news, movies, and TV shows, it’s now leveraging the full window for richer results.

To make it even easier to discover and access with just a tap, Apple is adding it right to the bottom of the home screen to quickly launch an app, find contact and/or start a search.
