On Monday, Apple TV+ hosted the world premiere event of the highly-anticipated award-winning Tehran season 2, which is a globally hit espionage thriller series.
On the 5th of May, in New York, the premiere event began with honoring the film star cast on the red carpet, including Glenn Close, Niv Sultan, Shaun Toub, Shervin Alenabi, Arash Marandi, and Shila Ommi; creators and executive producers Dana Eden and Moshe Zonder; co-creator, director and executive producer Daniel Syrkin; and more.
“The new season two follows Tamar (Niv Sultan), a Mossad hacker-agent who infiltrates Tehran under a false identity to help destroy Iran’s nuclear reactor. But when her mission fails, Tamar must plan an operation that will place everyone dear to her in jeopardy,” Apple describes.
Tehran season 2 stars two-time Emmy Award winner and Academy Award nominee Glenn Close, Niv Sultan, Shoun Toub, Navid Negahban, Shervin Alenabi, Menashe Noy, Liraz Charhi, Arash Marandi, and Shila Ommi.
The second season of the thriller series is directed by Daniel Syrkin, created by Moshe Zonder, Dana Eden, and Maor Kohn, while the story is written by Moshe Zonder and Omri Shenhar.
Daniel Syrkin and Omri Shenhar serve as co-creators and executive produced by Moshe Zonder, Dana Eden, Shula Spiegel, Alon Aranya, Julien Leroux, Peter Emerson, and Eldad Koblenz.
The 8-episode Tehran season 2 thriller series will globally premiere on Apple’s video streaming platform on Friday, May 6, 2022, with the first two episodes, one new episode will release every Friday a week till June 17, 2022.
