Apple TV announces new “The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse” Apple Original animated short film

On Monday, October 10, Apple TV unveils the new Apple Original animated short film — The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse, based on the beloved book by Charlie Mackesy.

“The poignant and heartfelt journey follows the unlikely friendship of a boy, a mole, a fox, and a horse traveling together in the boy’s search for a home,” Apple describes.

“The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse” features voice talents of Tom Hollander as The Mole, Idris Elba as The Fox, Gabriel Byrne as The Horse, and a “newcomer Jude Coward Nicoll as The Boy.”

The new animated movie is presented by Matthew Freud, directed by Peter Baynton and Charlie Mackesy, and produced by Cara Speller, J.J. Abrams, and Hannah Minghella

The Apple Original Film is executive produced by former Chief Designer Jony Ive and Academy Award nominee Woody Harrelson.

“The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse” will globally premiere on Apple TV+ on Christmas Day (December 25). You can know more about the movie in the official press release.
