WhatsApp Releasing “Global Voice Message Player” for iOS Users
Today, the Meta-owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp has started rolling out the “Global Voice Message Player” for iOS after months of beta testing.
According to the latest report from 9to5Mac, in WhatsApp for iOS version 22.4.75, the company is now releasing the new feature with an improved version (by changing some design UI) that allows you to listen to a voice message even when you’re in a different chat.
The new “Global Voice Message Player” will allow listening to voice messages even when you leave your chats. As the name says “Global,” meaning it is pinned at the top of the application and will always appear when you open any section of WhatsApp and it can be paused and closed at any time.
Users can now have an advantage from the new feature who regularly send, receive, and listen to audio messages for a long time. And they can now also be to listen to audio messages even while writing to running conversations with other users on WhatsApp.
The instant messaging platform has started testing it in October last year and now, by implementing the new “Global Voice Message Player,” WhatsApp enhances the user experience to listen to audio messages. Currently, there is no exact for when the functionality will be released on WhatsApp for Android.
Moreover, WhatsApp is currently working on the development of the new “Cover Photo” for the business platform.
