The world’s most used instant messaging platform WhatsApp is currently testing the all-new revamped design UI transformation for in-app group voice calls.
According to WABetaInfo, in the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 18.104.22.168, the company is testing the new and meaningful interface while we are on a group call together.
For clear evidence, the publication also shared the screenshot of the new feature that now shows new voice waveforms which beautifully animates when a group member speaks in real-time.
As we are now completely getting used to the existing interface, this could be a major and significant UI change for group voice calls since the beginning of the instant messaging platform.
The new revamped interface for group voice calls is currently limited to the limited number of beta testers, however, more users will receive it within the next few weeks, including WhatsApp users on iOS.
Last year in December, WhatsApp has also begun testing the new interface for personal voice calls with a more modern and compact design, however, it is still available only for beta testers.
