The Meta-owned photo and video sharing platform recently started testing to make Instagram Stories sharable with an increasing time limit of up to 60 seconds.
Instagrammers can share their photos and short videos which has a maximum length of 60 seconds in the Stories platform and stay live for a whole day that is another step further taken by the company in competition with Snapchat and TikTok.
An Instagram user in Turkey was first spotted the new feature by sharing a picture in a tweet. That means the social networking platform is currently working on a notable improvement in Instagram Stories.
Up until now, it is possible to publish Instagram Stories for up to 15 seconds, and if you record or upload a video longer than that it was automatically split into multiple different Stories. But now, with this new change, users will be able to share more content in Stories without having to split it.
However, as the company hasn’t made an official announcement about the new feature, it is currently completely unclear that when the company will be rolling out the new feature to all Instagrammers.
