Twitter Blue Rolling Out ‘Labs’ to Provide Early Access to New Features

On Thursday, October 28, the world’s most popular microblogging platform has confirmed to roll out ‘Labs’ for Twitter Blue to provide early access to the new features.

The previous day, the company said in a tweet from the Twitter Blue account that “Today, we’re rolling out Labs, giving you *early access* to some new features we’re building before everyone else.”

Twitter Blue, which is paid subscription service that was originally launched on June 3, 2021, and the company has now created a new way with “Labs” for their users to experience new features before everyone else.

For those who are unaware, Twitter Blue is Twitter’s own subscription-based service that gives you some additional and beneficial features on the platform, including Bookmark Folders, Undo Tweet, Reader Mode, and more.

Twitter also mentioned new features in Labs:

Pinned Conversations on iOS - Keep your favorite Direct Messages at the top by swiping right on the DM to pin it.

Longer video uploads from your desktop - Upload and Tweet up to 10 minutes of your video.

As Twitter Blue is currently only available in Canada and Australia, the new features will also be limited to these two countries as of now, however, the company promises to launch Labs in more countries soon and on its website, the company said Twitter Blue will be available on Android and the web in the near future.
