The microblogging and social networking platform Twitter has started rolling out a new search button on iOS for more easily reach to accounts and tweets.
The new feature is first spotted by XDA Developers, which notes that the new search button is located at the top right corner next to the three-dot menu to discover tweets and accounts.
You get a search field to enter a term(s) that you want to find and once you tap enter, it will show you similar and exact content, including tweets and accounts based on a search term(s), then the search field will be changed to from:(search term).
By implementing this new feature, Twitter provides a much easier way to search for tweets for specific users. However, it isn’t a new ability, previously, it was possible to find relevant content using the Twitter search field but now, a new search system is more “straightforward and logical.”
The new feature is currently only available on iOS but it is highly speculated that it will very soon to rolling out on Twitter for Android as well as Twitter for the web.
Along with this, Twitter is currently testing new features for users, including ‘Labs’ for Twitter Blue to provide early access of new features to users and display advertisements between Tweet conversations.
Recently, Twitter enhanced its new capability with other social media networks by allowing Instagram posts to show in a rectangle Twitter Card.
