Twitter Testing More Options for Playback Speed in Videos

Today, the most-liked micro-blogging platform Twitter is currently testing more ways to adjust the playback speed for videos and voice tweets on the platform.

On Wednesday, February 9, Twitter Support has officially announced the new 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x, 2.0x playback speed options in a tweet to provide various speeds, in which, they enjoy every particular video and voice tweet. However, it is currently in the testing period and will be first rolling out on Twitter for Android and web users.

In 2x, 1x, 0.5x…now testing more options in playback speed for videos.

Some of you on Android and web will have different sets of playback speeds to choose from so you can slow down or speed up videos and voice Tweets.

As of now, there are only four options available to set video playing speeds that include 0.25x, 0.5x, 0.75x, 1x, while the upcoming new choices will offer a more convenient video watching and voice tweet listening experience with more slow down and speed up options.

Along with this, Twitter is also testing new “Downvote” functionality and “Twitter Articles” to share long-form texts without character limits.
