Today, the Meta-owned instant messaging platform released a new built-in ‘Sticker Maker’ for WhatsApp Web to transform normal images into stickers.
The new ‘Sticker Maker’ feature will allow users to upload pictures from their computers and convert them into their favorite-styled sticker that can be to contacts through WhatsApp.
How to Access ‘Sticker Maker’ Tool?
- Open WhatsApp Web on a PC or Mac.
- Click the attachment icon, select sticker, upload an image from a computer.
- You can now edit it in whatever way you want to show by applying emoji, text, crop, and additional WhatsApp stickers.
Up until now, whenever you want to create your own stickers, you have to edit in other third-party apps before sending but with the new and in-built “Sticker Maker” feature, users will be able to do nearly identical editings without going to any third-party apps on iOS, Android, and desktop.
You can also draw an outline right around the primary subject to remove the background and images can also be cropped but only in a square aspect ratio. According to The Verge, the new WhatsApp feature for the web version is rolling next week for all users.
