Google India to Provide 100K Scholarships to Learners for Career Certificates

Today, the world’s biggest search engine giant Google has announced that the company will provide 100,000 scholarships to Indian learners for Google Career Certificates.

Google said they take this step further to let high school and university students have access to the great career opportunities in India’s digital economy and to make this initiative more learnable, the company has collaborated with Indian training organizations.

For this great initiative, the company has partnered with “NASSCOM” foundation which is India’s national association of software and services, “Tata STRIVE,” the skill development Initiative, and “Safeducate,” a consulting organization that specializes in Supply Chain Management and Logistics as well as retail, manufacturing, and automotive.

Google India has announced in a tweet,

To ensure underrepresented learners have access to opportunities in India’s new digital economy, we are collaborating with @NASSCOM foundation, @TataSTRIVE and Safeducate to provide 100K scholarships for Google Career Certificates.

We have collaborated with NASSCOM Foundation, Safaducate, and Tata STRIVE to make scholarships accessible for the ones who them most.

Note that this new scholarship program is only limited to Indian students but any further details about the application process, how to apply, scholarship amount, and the last date to apply is yet to announce.

However, this is not the first time where the search engine giant announced a scholarship program for 100K high school and university students for carrier certificates. In the past few years, the company had multiple times provided academic achievement for students in Asia, Europe, and North America.
