YouTube TV Now Supports Picture-in-Picture for All iOS 15 Devices

Today, the most-used online video sharing platform announced that YouTube TV users can now enjoy picture-in-picture on iPhones and iPads running on iOS 15 and iPadOS 15.

On Thursday, 31st March, YouTube TV confirmed in a tweet, “iPhone and iPad users, We’re happy to share that picture-in-picture is now rolling out to your iOS 15+ devices. Simply select a video to watch and swipe from the bottom of the screen to return to the device’s homepage. The video can scale down and move across your screen.”

While watching the content on YouTube TV, users can now just simply swipe from the bottom to return to the home screen with continue playing a video in a small floating window, which is adjustable across the screen.

Up until now, a useful feature was just limited to users who have a YouTube Premium subscription, which costs $11.99 in the United States. But finally, after a long time, it is now accessible to people who enjoy YouTube TV on iPhones and iPads running iOS 15 (or above).

Google is also reportedly working on the development of the picture-in-picture feature for all YouTube users that is expected to release in the near future.
