Microsoft Released First Beta of Windows 11 – How to Download?

Microsoft released the beta update of Windows 11 for members of the Windows Insider Program. And it is a kind of beta version that is released to the public.

The new Windows 11 was announced by Microsoft last month and then after, Microsoft released the developer preview (download) for developers to experience and testing purposes the new OS. And many users tried out it for a while.

At that time, the users of the developer preview looking for a more stable update. So, a few days ago, Microsoft released a beta channel of Windows that is more stable than the previous developer preview and it can be accessed by eligible users who want to experience the new Windows 11.

The beta channel brings all the new features and improvements which was announced by Microsoft on 24th June. Microsoft named this first beta channel “Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 2200.100.”

However, the first beta channel may still have some bugs and issues, so think twice a time before download and install it to your primary PC. And if possible, download this beta update on your secondary computer.

How to Download Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22000.100?

Before starting the downloading process, check out minimum system requirements to check that whether or not your PC is eligible to download and install the update.

  1. Go to the Settings > Security & Updates > Windows Insider Program and click on “Get Started.”
  2. Register your Windows account in the program and click on the Register button.
  3. The prompt will show some details about the Windows Insider Program and click on Sign Up.
  4. Carefully read an agreement, agree to terms and conditions, and click on Submit.
  5. Close the prompt.
  6. Link an account whichever you want and click on Continue.
  7. Select the Beta Channel (Microsoft recommends) and click on Confirm.
  8. Click on Restart Now option to restart your PC.
  9. After restarting, go to Settings > Update & Security and click on “Check for updates.”
  10. Now, the download and installation process will be starting.
  11. Then, again click on Restart Now option.
  12. Once done, you will be able to enjoy the latest Windows 11 (Beta).

Microsoft said that the feedback of this update will be taken seriously. So, if you face any issues after download and install the beta channel, you can send feedback to Microsoft about bugs and issues by going to Start > Feedback Hub > Log In (or Sign up) > Add new feedback, upvote suggestions, or comments.

    Hey there, I think your website might be having browser compatibility issues. When I look at your website in Chrome, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, fantastic blog!

      Thanks for informing us but it perfectly opens on Internet Explorer on our end, we don’t face any compatibility issues. Yes, we have a contact page in the pages section at the bottom.
