Sony LinkBuds – New Frontier for Headphones

On Tuesday, February 15, Japan-based Sony Group Corporation has officially introduced its all-new “Sony LinkBuds WF-L900”, a unique era of TWS earbuds.

The company published the official product video on its YouTube channel and describes “Sony LinkBuds” as “a new frontier for headphones,” Sony’s exclusive unique ring design with audio transparency links online and offline worlds for a “Never Off” wearing experience.

New Bluetooth earbuds from Sony have kind of an open-air design, which is notably different from other true wireless earphones in the current market. A notable hole in Linkbuds, which an open ring along with a driver unit that allows users to listen to the music alongside hearing the ambient surround sound.

The brand new LinkBuds features several unique, interesting, and helpful features, including a small and lightweight structure, donut-shaped, open ring earpiece, perfect for ears, clear and noise-free calls, ring driver unit, authentic and a natural sound, simply tap near the ear for quick access to the music, Google Assitant and Alexa support to easily access emails and meetings.

Moreover, it is also certified by IPX4 water-resistant rating and offers 5.5 hours of battery life on a single charge and a total of 17.5 hours of battery with the case. For a quick charge, 10 minutes of charge can give 90 minutes of playback.

As it doesn’t obstruct the ambient noise, it seems “Sony LinkBuds” is made for listeners who want to be aware of ambient surround sound while walking, running, biking, and riding public transportation.

Considering the environment, the company claims that Sony LinkBuds are made with recycled plastics and are available to purchase in black and white colorways at $178 (in the United States) and £149 (in the United Kingdom) from the company’s official online store or Amazon.
