At the IFA 2022 event on 1st September, the Finland-based consumer electronics company has officially announced its new budget-centric Nokia G60 5G.
The latest Nokia phone is made with the durability, environment friendly design in mind, and longevity in its core, uses 60% recycled plastic in its body.
Along with this, the company also introduced the new mid-range Nokia X30 5G, Nokia C31, Nokia T21 tablet, Clarity Earbuds 2 Pro, and Portable Wireless Speaker 2.
Nokia G60 5G – Features and specifications
The new mid-range Nokia phone features a 6.58-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It provides 400 nits typical brightness and 500 nits peak brightness. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
There is a new advanced triple rear camera setup, which houses a 50MP primary wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture, 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and 2MP depth camera with f 2.4 aperture while a 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The back cameras have Night Mode 2.0, AI Portrait, Dark Vision, and so many features for capturing sharp and vibrant photos and videos even in low light.
Nokia G60 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G, running on Android 12, and the company is committed to providing the major Android OS and monthly security updates for 3 years.
The 5G Nokia handset comes with Bluetooth 5.1, a single nano-SIM + eSIM, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The Nokia phone has a 4500 mAh battery capacity battery life and supports 20W fast charging.
It features an side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Face unlock for biometric security, certified by IP52 dust and water-resistant rating.
The smartphone can be configured in 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Note that you can’t expand the storage on this Nokia phone.
Pricing and avaliability
The new Nokia G60 5G comes in black and ice colorways and costs €319 in the European markets and £249 in the UK. However, the availability date is currently unclear.
