Nokia Partners With Zain KSA to Enhance Digital Infrastructure in Saudi Arabia

On Thursday, February 10, a Finland-based telecommunications company announced its partnership with Zain KSA to improve digital infrastructure in Saudi Arabia.

Nokia has an agreement with Saudi Arabia-based telecommunications company Zain KSA with the main to expand the company’s digital infrastructure and enhancing its network capabilities by covering all of the regions of the country.

The collaboration agreement was signed at the LEAP global technology event held in Riyadh, which was organized by the Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT).

Straightforwardly, the agreement covers that Nokia will contribute to enhancing Zain KSA’s network capabilities and providing advanced digital services with high-bandwidth and low-latency technologies for the best broadband and communications experience.

This agreement is in line with Zain KSA’s initiatives to position the Saudi telecom sector on a global scale and transform it into a major enabler to achieve the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030 such as comprehensive digital transformation, transfer and localization of knowledge and technology and improving the quality of life. 

Moreover, Nokia will also provide a range of its digital solutions that includes AirScale Radio, Wavence Microwave, NetAct, and EdenNet Self-Organizing Networks (SON) to more precisely enhance coverage and network performance.
