The new Nokia X30 5G is now official

At the IFA 2022 event on 1st September, Nokia Mobile officially unveiled its latest mid-range Nokia X30 5G smartphone alongside the new other Nokia products.

The brand new Nokia phone is made with sustainability in mind, maintaining the lowest possible environmental impact, and eco-friendliness to its core. There is a utilization of 100% recycled aluminum and 65% recycled plastic in its body.

Nokia X30 5G – Features and specifications

The new mid-range Nokia phone features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz adaptive refresh rate, Full HD+ (1080 x 2400) resolution, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It provides 400 nits typical brightness and 700 nits peak brightness for bright colors and smooth viewing. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.

There is a new advanced Gorilla Glass DX+-protected dual rear camera setup, which houses a 50MP primary wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture and 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.4 aperture while a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture.

The back cameras are “Big Pixel PureView” with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), Night Mode 2.0, AI Portrait, and so many features for capturing sharp and vibrant photos and videos even in low light.

Nokia X30 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G, running on Android 12, and the company is committed to providing the major Android OS and monthly security updates for 3 years.

The 5G Nokia handset comes with Bluetooth 5.1, a single nano-SIM + eSIM, and a USB Type-C port. The Nokia phone has a 4200 mAh battery capacity battery life and supports 33W fast charging. It features an under-display fingerprint sensor for biometric security, certified by IP67 dust and water-resistant rating.

The smartphone can be configured in 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage as well as 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Note that you can’t expand the storage on this Nokia phone so consider the need when you’re purchasing.

Pricing and availability

The brand new Nokia X30 5G comes in white and blue colorways and costs €529 in the European markets and similar in the United States. However, the availability date is currently unclear.
