Carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G receives July security update 2022 in the US

Samsung Mobile has now started rolling out the July security update 2022 to its mid-range Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G for the carrier-locked models in the US.

The July security update 2022 includes fixes for a number of privacy and security vulnerabilities as well as contains general bug fixes and device performance enhancements.

The firmware with the new July security update 2022 for the Verizon carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G models is G781VSQU6FVG3 in the United States, reported by Sammy Fans.

So, if you’re a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G user in the country, you can download the new update by heading over to Settings > Software update > (tap) Download and Install. Users across more countries will get the security patch within the next few days.

Moreover, the South Korean tech giant has recently begun releasing the same update to its affordable Samsung Galaxy A12 Nacho in a few regions.
