Carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy S21 Series receives July security update 2022 in the US

Samsung Mobile has now started rolling out the July security update 2022 to its last year’s flagship Samsung Galaxy S21 Series in the US for the carrier-locked models.

The July security update 2022 includes fixes for a number of privacy and security vulnerabilities as well as contains general bug fixes and device performance enhancements.

The firmware with the newest July security update 2022 for the Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra is G998USQU5CVG4 for the T-Mobile carrier-locked models in the United States, reported by Sammy Fans.

So, if you’re a user of the any model of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Series in the country, you can download the new update by heading over to Settings > Software update > (tap) Download and Install. Users across more countries will get the security patch within the next few days.

Moreover, the South Korean tech giant has recently begun releasing the same update to its mid-range Samsung Galaxy A42 5G in a few regions.
