Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 Getting Android 12 Update

Samsung Mobile has now started rolling out the new Android operating system-based One UI 4.1 update to its rugged Galaxy XCover 5 in limited countries.

Samsung’s One UI 4.1 comes with some notable new features, especially the new camera features, including night portrait functions, pet recognition, and lighting position editing functions.

The new major software update also includes the June Security Update 2022 that comes with addressing several privacy and security issues as well as includes general bug fixes and performance improvements.

The primary Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update for the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 comes with a firmware version G525FXXU5BVE5 currently in European countries, reported by SamMobile.

So, if you’re a Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 user in the country, you can download the new update by heading over to Settings > Software update > (tap) Download and Install. Users across more countries will receive the new update within the next few days or weeks.

Moreover, the South Korean tech giant has recently begun releasing the same update to its flagship Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 in a few regions.
